Preamble
Introduction:
The preamble is the first paragraph of the US Constitution and it states that "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this costitution for the United States of America". In other words, we the people of the United States want to form a perfect union that is fair, peaceful, secure, healthy, and free. This first paragraph says what we want to see in this "new" United States of America.
